Yes. The AccessNet system stores all user permissions and schedules directly on the local hardware  at your facility. As long as the system has power, it will continue to grant or deny access based on the last synced credentials, even with a complete internet outage.

Once internet connectivity is restored, all the activity that occurred during the outage (door unlocks, access attempts, etc.) will be automatically uploaded to the management platform, so you will have a complete log of events.

Yes. We power the AccessNet system using Power over Ethernet (PoE) directly from the network switch. As part of our professional installation, we connect these critical switches to our own custom-developed lithium UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems.

This specialized battery backup is engineered to keep your entire access control system—and your network—fully powered and operational for at least 4 hours (up to 30!) during a complete power outage. While other facilities might be left unsecured or inaccessible, your business will remain secure and accessible to authorized staff.

AccessNet offers a flexible range of entry methods to suit your operational and security needs, from daily convenience to high-security protocols.

• NFC Cards & Fobs: The most common method. Use an issued, encrypted NFC card or key fob for a quick and secure tap-to-enter experience.
• Mobile Access: Unlock doors directly from your smartphone using the UI mobile app. This can be done by tapping a button in the app or by holding your phone near the reader, just like a card.
• PIN Codes: For readers equipped with a keypad, a unique PIN code can be used for entry. This is an excellent option for users who may not have a card or phone.

• QR Codes: Easily generate time-limited QR codes for visitors, contractors, or temporary staff. You define which doors they can access and for how long. The guest simply presents the code on their phone to the reader, eliminating the need to manage physical cards.

• Facial Recognition for Verification: For enhanced security, the system can use integrated cameras for intelligent logging. While it's not used for direct unlocking, it identifies the person at the door and automatically tags the access event with their photo. This creates a powerful, undisputed audit trail to confirm who used a credential.
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): For your most sensitive areas, you can require two forms of credentials to grant access. This policy can be configured on a per-door basis, forcing a user to present a combination, such as their NFC card and a unique PIN code, before the door will unlock. This provides an essential layer of extra security, ensuring that just having a card is not enough to gain entry.

Legacy access control is built around a central panel with a fixed number of ports, meaning you can only add, for example, 8 or 16 doors before you must purchase another expensive main control board and find the physical space to mount it.

AccessNet has no such limitations. Because the system is entirely IP-based, it is decentralized and does not rely on a main panel with a fixed capacity. Each door's smart Access Hub is its own device on the network. To add another door or group of doors, you don't need new base hardware or proprietary boards; you simply need an available port on a network switch. This modern architecture makes the system, for all practical purposes, infinitely scalable. You can grow from one door to hundreds across multiple buildings and locations, all while managing everything from the same single interface.
